The changing English pronunciation and phoneticians' efforts to keep track of it might put dictionary development and TEFL in confusion in which phonetic issues,transcription symbols and their input and display in a machine-readable mode have to be addressed.With deeper understanding of the various systems of transcription and a good command of the appropriate fonts,trouble can be cleared up.
