Wavelet fast decomposition and reconstruction based on DSP

Based on wavelet transformation and the DSP TMS320C3X series from Texas Instruments, this paper describes the detailed description of Mallat fast decomposition and reconstruction algorithm separately, and then presents the implementation of wavelet fast transform to DSP(Digital Signal Processor) by using the design tool Matlab, at last the corresponding assembly code is presented. This method realize Mallat algorithm by less instruction cycles, testing result indicate that this method can be used in the real-time analysis of signal.
