J2EE provides a cross-platform,portable,multi-user,standard,and enterprise-class Java Server Platform of the deployment.ArcIMS and ArcSDE which are the components of ArcGIS,realize the GIS based on Internet.The combination of ArcIMS and ArcSDE ensures the maintainability and scalability of the framework.This paper introduces the system structure and realization processes under the framework.
