Analyzing the characteristics of the modern procurement and distribution of city logistics and the Advantages of geographic information technology,the scheme is presented the logistics management information system based on GIS technology. Using GIS technology,the logistics management information system is constructed based on ArcEngine. The functions such as : The basic operation of GIS,spatial query and statistics,logistics data processing and visualization Management,procurement and distribution management,Vehicle scheduling,goods receipt processing and user management,and so on,Which are realized in the system. The system has certain reference value and practical guiding significance for the information construction of modern logistics enterprises.
