Research on Realization Method of G.729 Speech Codec Algorithm and Implementation on DSP

In order to reduce the operational complexity of codec, a scheme for G.729 speech codec algorithm based on DSP is presented,whose code optimization is specially discussed in this paper.The simulated results show the operational complexity is reduced reatly and the implementation of G.729 speech codec algorithm can completely be done with single TMS320VC5410 chip,the synthesized speech has the accordant codec effect with the standard.
