A Maintenance-oriented Remote Real-time Monitoring Method of Hydropower Equipment

Zhaohui Li · Hydropower Automation and Dam Monitoring · 2007

The NET-based Rich Internet Application (RIA) structure and its real-time ability, interactivity, security and reliability are introduced. According to the requirement of maintenance in hydropower plants, an RIA model for remote real-time monitoring of hydropower equipment is proposed, and its working principle is explained in detail. A remote monitoring, diagnosis and analysis system is developed, which has a three-layer structure: acquisition layer, unit diagnosis layer, and remote monitoring, diagnosis and analysis layer. This system is implemented successfully in the Gezhouba Hydropower Plant. The operation shows that the remote monitoring method based on the RIA model works well and has a good prospect of application.
