C/S system of hydrological automatic monitoring

Based on hydrological automatic monitoring system in Donghai County,this paper has introduced using the Visual Basic programming language and SQL Server 2000 database to develop the hydrological automatic monitoring system,and major introduced the characteristics of hydrological automatic monitoring system,the structure,function and some of the key software technology in process.The system can be fully used network function by client/server model,the system was constructed by three parts as receiving data,the real time display and the historical data.The system has powerful functions,simple operation,easy to extend to other regions.
