Research on an Image Retrieval Algorithm Based on Color Auto-Correlogram and Wavelet Transform

The content-based image retrieval technology is becoming an important research topic as the image information increase.This paper presents two image retrieval algorithms based on color auto-correlogram and wavelet transform.The color feature and the texture feature are extracted using both of them.We compare the performances of the two algorithms.The results of experiment show algorithm 2 is more efficient.
