Design of Numerically Controlled Attenuator

Single chip computer is a widely used device in recent years.It has quite powerful control capability.This paper presents an introduction on how to make a numerically controlled attenuator according to the principle of HF circuit impedance match,the control skill of single chip computer and the use of micro relay.This numerical control attenuator designs the size of the attenuation by a 4×4 digital keyboard and provides the digital display of the attenuator.It also possesses many advantages,such as small volume,high work frequency,strong function,convenient operation,and wide applicability use.Its main technical specifications are as follows:frequence scale 0~ 1 GHz,attenuation scale 0~120 dB,characteristical impendance 50 Ω,encamped wave coefficient 1.2~1.4, attencation error ≤1%,maximum inport voltaqe 5 V.
