Maximum Wind Energy Tracking Wind Turbine System and Simulation

The variable speed constant frequency AC-excited wind turbine system based on doubly-fed induction generator(DFIG) was discussed. By testing different wind speed, rotor speed reference of machine was given and the stator-flux oriented control strategy was used to control active and reactive power of machine independently and realize maximal wind energy capture. The test model and the result of the system and the validity and feasibility of the control strategy were given.
