The Piecewise Curve-fitting Method Based on Least-square Principle

A new piecewise curve fitting method based on Least-Square principle.The mathematical model and the application of the method is discussed.An example is presented and the resulting fitting-curve with good fitting of precision and location is obtained by using the software MATLAB.The proposed principle is tractable, and the corresponding mathematical model can be easily solved by using existing software MATLAB.
