Schema construction and discourse comprehension

This paper discusses the correlation between schema theory and discourse comprehension,which is classified into three aspects such as the writer's static schema,the reader's interactive schema and cognitive schema generated in reading process.Their interrelations help decode the way the reader utilizes existed schema,together with discourse schema,to conduct cognitive inference and information decode.As a result,cognition and behavior are made to reach an agreement while comprehension made to result in efficiency so that the reader manages to gain comprehension information to the utmost.
