Design of Portable Basketball Match Timer Controlled by Single-chip Microcomputer

In combination with the software design and hardware design,a portable timer for basketball match was designed by utilizing AT89C51 chip′s strong control ability,the design flexibility and programming language easy to modify to overcome the timing difficulties of the basketball games in remote impoverished mountainous areas and the basketball games between cliques,and adapt the popularization of basketball game.The written program is imported into the simulation hardware circuit to see whether this design agrees with design requirements by using Keil uVision 3 to run the program and debug the operation time.The design has the characteristics of performance stabilization,low power consumption and low price,and is portable.
