Application for GPS deformation monitoring of an improved time-series analysis method based on wavelet noise reduction

Considering the special function of Wavelet technology in gross error detection and noise reduetion, the paper presents an improved timeseries analysis method based on Wavelet noises reduction focused on the combination of Wavelet technology and traditional data processing technology, The application of this method for GPS deformation monitoring is demonstrated by a practical example. After being processed by Wavelet, the result of this method verified its notable advancement on deformation analysis and forecast . The accuracy is much higher than unimproved timeseries analysis method, which tells us the feasibility of the improved method.
