Study of distance education identity authentication method based on face recognition

Distance identity authentication is one of the problems that should be solved urgently by distance educational system.In order to authenticate learners' identity momentarily,an identity authentication wethod based on the technology of face identity is presented in this paper.Based on the analysis of face identity technology,a way to extract the face feature of Sec-(2D)2PCA has been put forward,and it decreases the influence of collecting environment on the face identity's accuracy.The method,presented in the paper,can not only solve effectively all kinds of hidden troubles brought by widely using static ways such as user + password and so on,but also create an advantage for distance education's healthy development.
