Safety of blasting equipment under thunder environment in the plateau s hould be regarded as great importance in the construction of Qinghai-Tibet railway lin e.Safety threat from thunder mainly refers to the direct lightning strike and electrom agnetic induction and potential hazard of s tatic electricity induction of the blastin g network induced by thunder.Based on relat ed safety rules of blasting,this paper rais es measures and suggestions in terms of con struction safety for the temporary storage ,transport and operation of the blasting eq uipment under thunder environment in the pl ateau.
