Studies on the Type of Cotton Germlasm with Stigma Showing and the Characteristics of Response of its Hybrid F_1 to Daylength and Temperature V.Studies on the Critical Daylength Causing the Delay in Budding of Four Cotton Germplasms Sensitive to

Huang Wan-ji · 2002

Four cotton germplasms sensitive to daylight (ys 1, ys 3, ys 4 and ys 8) under summer high temperature in Nanchang were treated with different daylight. The result showed that the critical day lengths that delay its budding are 12 hours, 1212hours, 1223 hours and 1213hours respectively; While the critical day lengths leading to no budding are longer than those delaying budding, which are 1323 hours for ys 1, ys 4 and ys 8, and 1523hours for ys 3.
