Speech Coding Based on H.264 Image Compression Method

Speech coding and image coding,as the core techniques of modern communication,are often independent each other.This is mostly because of the great difference between the two methods.Different algorithms should be applied according to their own characteristics.However,with many common characteristics,many uniform coding techniques are applied by the two methods.A speech coding algorithm using H.264 is put forward and verified in this paper.A 7.7 kbps coding method is realized and the synthesized speech quality is good.This algorithm has well-situated calculation and is of significance for multimedia fusion coding.
