Compound Extremenal Statistical Method with Applications

This paper introduces the compound extremenal statistics. The formulas and their algorithms of the distribution functions of the compound extremenal statistics are given by a series of recurrence lamina, and their asymptotical distributiOns are derived. Regarding their applications of waveform analysis and picture processing, compound extremenal filters are investigated and discussed. For i. i. d. input, the statistical properties of the output of the filter are analysed. Finally, considers the applications of compound extrema-deviation to quality control.
