In the computer control system in most occasions, the need for multiple serial port, serial port initialization and interrupt program due to increased computer time cost, often can make the computer within the stipulated time,unable to complete a complete control cycle. In order to solve this bottleneck, this paper presents a method based on single chip microcomputer AT89C51 full duplex serial port design. The computer just by dual port RAM connected. This makes serial communication is equivalent to the computer's RAM read and write operations, thereby greatly reduces the computer time overhead.
