Starting from the reality and character of tasks for flood prevention and dispatching of Yangtze River,this paper presents the design and implementation of B/S WebGIS for flood prevention and dispatching of Yangtze River based on integration of ArcGIS Server,ArcSDE and.Net platform.By using the efficient and convenient internet/intranet resources and map operating functions of GIS,the system implements the flood prevention and dispatching globally,timely and visually.
