Oil-Well Location Survey and Data Processing Based on GPS

The existent problems of oil-well location survey were analyzed.The strategy for oil-well location survey based on GPS navigation and orientation technology is proposed.Global position system,communication computer technologies and so on are applied to structuring the preliminary survey and management subsystem of oil-well location,so as to solve the inconveniences caused by using the third party software which could accomplish GPS data receiving and GPS data processing.The experimental results demonstrate that the implement of the strategy could obtain PVT data from GPS,improve the flexibility and agility of oil-well location movement.The difference between the surveyed location and the true location is less than 5 meters.The feasible technology support will be provided for oil-well location survey.
