On Better Utilization of Idle Resources in Cluster Environment

Cluster environment often includes a number of workstations in addition to personal computers.Existing methods for utilization of idle resources are not quite efficient.A new method based on real-time database is proposed in order to achieve better utilization of such resources.The general introduction of real-time database is given firstly.How to implement our method based on real-time database and how to manage resources with it are described secondly.The experimentation is given lastly.This method has been tried on a certain small network job management system and can achieve an average of 60% utilization of idle resources.
