A Resource Monitoring and Management System with Autonomic Computing Features

Currently the increasing quantities and various types of devices,which impose higher requirements on the capability of network manager and reduce the management efficiency,has become the main challenge for network administrators. And the principle and technology of autonomic computing is becoming a prevalent approach to the difficult problem of management complexity. In this paper,based on the characteristics and functionalities of autonomic computing,we design a resource monitoring and management system capable of self-identification,self-configuration,self-organization,self-execution,self-stabilization and self-healing.
