Review on Flight Rerouting Path Planning

Flight rerouting is an important part of air traffic flow management.The rerouting strategy is a method which can select a new flight path to avoiding the severe weather area.It can increase the utilization ratio of airspace and has a wide application prospect.The research status of flight rerouting path planning is analyzed systematically and comprehensively.According to the different implementing period,the methods are divided into two categories:pre-flight rerouting path planning and real-time rerouting path planning.Both of them are introduced and summarized respectively.Finally,the existing problems of current research and the development trend of flight rerouting study are analyzed.
