Research of Excitation Control System for Synchronous Generator

The disadvantages of self-excitation system for synchro-generator is analyzed.A new type of excitation system based on chopped wave technique is presented. The work principle for the system is analyzed.The mathmatical model of each link are setted up. The regulator is designed with the engineering design method. According to the theory of feedback control,the selfexcitation control system is build. The experiment results verify that this control scheme is feasible.It can present theoretic direction on the re-construction and optimization excitation system.
