APPLICATION OF MICRO-PROCESSOR IN THE ATMOSPHERE TEMPERATURE PROFILE SOUNDOR (ATPS)

Three main functions of the micro-processor used by the author in the ATPS are described, i.e., synchronous driving of the scan mirror and the filter wheel, accomplishment of two scanning modes, collecting and pre-processing of the measured data, and serving as the interface between the ATPS and the microwave telemeter. The design method and logic chart of the micro-processor and the experimental results are also described.
