From angle of the system and the whole factory,the plan,design and application of first basic automation network of CCPP Electronic Total Station of Laiwu Iron Steel Group were presented.The system involved various kinds of field protocol such as PROFIBUS,CAN,and MODBUS and the network was complex.This network was characterized by openness,high reliability and operability.
