Simulation of Radar Echo and Calculation of Detection Probability Based on Monte Carlo Analysis

A system for measurement of radar detection probability was given. In order to evaluate the results of this system in practical application, a mathematical method based on Monte Carlo analysis was put forward, which includes two parts, as echo simulation and detection probability calculation. The former researches on how to simulate the echo of fluctuating target based on the models such as Swerling I, Swerling II, and combination of Swerling I and Swerling II, while the latter being the method for calculating radar detection probability, followed by the simulation results.
