The article states that is takes IDE software of Wonderware as the platform for data exchange to fulfill the data exchange for DCS,which can fulfill the seamless connection.It elaborates that the data collection will be done by FSGateway,seting up the module for objects at the plant in IDE,taking the examples to set value,transport the data to display layer Intouch an InSQL,which connects different DCS to form network,sending all DCS data to control room and DCS stations to display,finally eliminating the automation isolated island which are formed by many sets of DCS.
