The architecture of server sub-system is most important to large-scale MOD service system, especially to the performance and efficiency of the service. This paper proposes a scalable and distributed-like architecture of the server sub-system. It also describes how to implement it with IP Multicast. Large-scale MOD service system can be constructed at a low cost with this architecture.
