Study on key-to-pinyin conversion problem for Chinese phonetic input technique on digit keyboard

For Chinese phonetic input technique on digit keyboard,this paper puts forward the key-to-pinyin-conversion problem and then proposes effective solutions.Firstly,we give the formalized definition of key-to-pinyin-conversion problem and then manage to deduce two models according to Bayes' rule in order to solve that problem.After that,the problem is transferred to find an optimal road in a direct acyclic graph(DAG).The search spaces and algorithms are described respectively for each deduced model.Experiments results prove that key-to-pinyin conversion problem is a bottleneck for Chinese phonetic input technique on digit keyboard,and our algorithms can effectively solve the problem.
