At present , the database management system(DBMS) is widely used to storing data by large-scale network monitoring system .Thought DBMS could be good for managing lots of monitoring data , but the technology of DBMS is so complex that it leads the whole system to lower performance if DBMS is not suitably used. In this paper, a series of measures are proposed about table structure and I/O efficiency to optimize data storage for large-scale network Monitoring systems basing on the characteristics. And it is effective in fact.
