Research and Development Trends of Induction Motor Fault Diagnosis

Induction motor play an important role in industry,its reliably and safety operation is very important.Due to the induction motor structure,humidity and temperature,induction motor faults occur frequently.Induction motor on-line fault diagnosis of basic steps include extract fault signal,extract fault feature information and fault state identification.Extracting fault signal online firstly,and extracting the fault feature information by signal processing technology,then determinineing the fault category by algorithm.Based on the current on-line fault diagnosis of induction motor,the research present situation and development trend were discussed in the paper.
