The Web-based Expert System of Failure Analysis in a Gear Transmission

According to the features of gear transmission failure, based on the theories of expert system, network techniques and database, the expert system of failure analysis in gear transmission is introduced in this paper. Combining the Internet with expert system, the remote expert system for gear transmission failure is developed on the basis of WWW, which will undoubtedly improve the efficiency of remote gear transmission failure diagnosis. In this paper, the network architecture of this expert system is presented, the open intelligent model of this expert system is studied, and the operating modes of this expert system are introduced. Some key technologies for implementing this expert system are also discussed.
