In this paper,the component and functions of the digital military topology information system,as well as its design keypoint are introduced.The system has the function for storing and inquiring great capacity multimedia military topology information.The system in which the GIS technique was successfully introduced breaks through the limitation of the traditional paper military topology and successfully integrates the different type of information at a same interface,which fills the gaps in the fields of digital military topology and has the great value to popularization and application.
