Research on the Pertinence of QoS Metrics in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

It is important for multi-constrained QoS routing to study the pertinences of QoS metrics.This paper investigates the pertinence of bandwidth,average packet delay and delay jitter in mobile ad hoc networks by simulation and analysis.The formulations denoting the pertinence of these QoS metrics are obtained,and simulations are performed to validate correctness of these formulations.The simulation shows that the analytical results are consistent with simulation results.
