Feature Analysis for Influencing Blood Platelet Testing by Hematology Analyzer

Objective To investigate the feature of influence during hematology analyzer detecting blood platelet,and to improve the quality control and veracity of blood platelet counting.Methods 87 samples from thrombopenis patients were tested by Coulter STKS and microscope respectively.Results Paired t-test results showed that t=14.26,P0.001.There was significant difference on blood platelet counting between the two methods,and the results are positive correlative.Conclusion There were some restrictions in testing the blood platelet by current hematology analyzers.It is necessary to recheck according to some standard for abnormal samples or abnormal histogram,then the clinical testing quality was guaranteed.
