A Study of GB Theory in Generative Grammar

GB Theory(Government and Binding Theory) is the early stage of Principles and Parameters Theory,which is used to inquire into Universal Grammar of human languages.It is the beginning of the research changing from the concrete language rule systems to human being's language universal grammar principle system.GB Theory is a relatively mature theory in generative grammar,which is the basis to understand further development of Principles and Parameters Theory.
