SNMP Extensible Agent′s Implementation on μClinux Embedded System

It′s a serious problem of the management of communication devices with communication network′s large-scale construction.The network is not supporting network management or only managed with serial port network management which has some disadvantage.This paper introduces the design for an embedded operating system-μClinux,which source code is open,and advance supporting SNMP on μClinux and extending SNMP agent to manage communication devices,and introduces the method of extending SNMP agent in detail.At last,it is implemented to manage communication devices conveniently and securely basing on low cost.
