An 3D Contour Matching Algorithm Based on the Local Coordinate System and Hash Function

Matching of 3D curve is an important problem in object recognition.This paper presents an approach based on local coordinate system and hash method.The method extracts invariant feature points to establish the local coordinate system,then computes the similarity invariants to construct hash table.At last, it compares these invariants. The result proves the method is stable, efficient and applicable.
