Research on Ontology-based Workflow Meta Model

In this paper,we present a possibility to describe workflow meta model using ontology.Based on the research results we have.we also define the concetpts of workflow meta model and build up workflow meta model outology,which is extendable,comprehonsible and maintainable.In this way,the model layer is extended,and antology knowledge base of workflow is set up.All these results lay a solid foundation for the future work,such as analyzing and modeling of workflow model,automatic model checking,and interoperation between the workflow management systems.
