A Monographic Study on the Documentation of China’s Sport Information and Application of Information Technology

After a monographic and statistical study of the relative literature on sport information and application of information technology compiled in “the Abstract Collection of Papers from Sports Science Conferences” of the first until the seventh,it is indicated that the amount of academic research achievement in the field of sport information and application of information technology has gone up year by year,with an average content of 16.6% for each conference.Specifically speaking,in terms of the contents,quite a number of papers are concerned with the area of athletic sports.Secondly,they are on the area of school sports and mass sports.In terms of research method,most of them have adopted experiments,statistics and retrieval from data base and networks.While in the aspect of information technology,the following major technological means are made use of,such as computer,video pictures,network,data base,telecommunication,microelectronics,and emulation technology.From the literature compiled,it is obvious that the application of sport information and information technology has been widely used in our country’s practice of electronic government affairs,preparation for war,various competitive activities,constitution monitoring,the management of body-building equipments,and other mass practice,sports market,data collection and utilization of sport industries as well as in teaching courseware preparation,distance teaching and learning.
