Study on Middleware Technology Implementing the Level B1 in DBMS

Due to the need of information security nowadays, a concrete scheme of implementing DBMS which achieves the level B1 of TCSEC standard is designed in this study by the middleware technology. It is based on the improved Bell-LaPadula model and mainly includes such functions and technologies as mandatory access control, authorization management ,security audit, self-protection and so on. On the whole, this secure system has completed the requisition of level B1 and has been realized in typical operation systems and worked effectively.
