Acoustic Analysis of Short Vowels in Evenki

Based on Evenki acoustical database and analyzing acoustical picture of vowels,the investigation was concentrated on acoustical analysis of short vowels' F1 and F2 in Evenki.Feature and distributing structure of short vowels were described in detail through ways of confirming quality and quantity.The investigation also showed that compared with initial short syllabic short vowels,non-initial syllabic short vowels had a more apparent phenomenon of centralizing.
