An approach for generating test case from UML activity diagrams based on genetic algorithm

Recently,Software testing based on UML Activity Diagram is an interesting research issue in the academic community and the industry.A novel approach is proposed for creating testing cases,which takes the advantage of GA,combined with UML Activity Diagram to create efficient test case.A formal definition of UML Activity Diagram is gived,then a model and algorithm based on GA are proposed to create testing cases.An experiment is designed.the obtained results indicate the efficiency of this approach.
