Application of wavelet analysis in frequency division processing of seismic data

In accordance with the drawbacks of Fourier transform in frequency division processing of seismic data,this paper studies wavelet transform and uses Morlet wavelet transform analytical method.Proper wavelet filter bank is used for spectrum analysis processing of 3D seismic data in Dagang area.Seismic data of different scales are obtained.After processing,the quality of seismic data has been greatly improved,seismic event becomes thinner,frequency band becomes wider,and the resolution of seismic data has been improved.This study may guide frequency division processing and interpretation of seismic data.
