This paper mainly discusses how to make a simple lightning detector, through the application of the world 's first lightning sensor IC, the AS3935 Franklin Lightning Sensor with an embedded intelligent algorithm which is introduced by austriamicrosystems, and combined with the Arduino open source platform.
