Research and Implementation of Creating Federation Execution of HLA/RTI Complying with IEEE1516

Creating federation execution is the first phase of a federation execution's lifecycle. The main contents of creating federation execution of HLA/RTI complying with IEEE1516 are analyzed in the paper, including XML document parsing, FDD contents analyzing and static data structures building. Then, possible strategies for design and implementation of creating federation execution of HLA/RTI are presented. The design tradeoffs and implementation selections in RTI are given.
