Improvement of Floor Control Mechanism in Group Communication

To solve the problem of floor control is very important in the group communication based on packet domain.The pros and cons of floor control mechanism directly influence the size of group communication,communication efficiency and the expansion of group communication service.As to the timeliness and using effect,TBCP/DQ is the best among the three existing floor control mechanisms.But when the number of users in the group increases dramatically,the network will transfer a great deal of control signal among the controlling servers and cause the network congestion easily.If taking the packet loss and error into consideration,the practicability of TBCP/DQ is further limited.In this paper,the floor control mechanism of migration of the distributed queue was presented to optimize and improve the efficiency of floor control.The simulation result shows that TBCP/MDQ is superior under the condition that the user scale becomes larger.
